Do You Think That There Should Be Less Advertising?

Naturally, people one way or another encounter conflicting viewpoints when they deal with an issue, like the one mentioned in this topic question as to whether advertisements offer consumers may more choices or they cause the selfishness and greediness among buyers. As a matter of fact, for particular reasons and illustrations from reality, I am of an opinion that advertising is a positive development for the consumers. Below are further discussions on it.

In the first place, among the numerous reasons for the thesis statement above, the most remarkable one is that the producers can introduce their products to a wider range of consumers in the shortest and most effective ways. To be more detailed, using diverse of media facilities such as leaflet, brochure, panel, poster, billboard, TV advert…, the manufacturers provide customers the unique features together with all the essential information related to their goods. Furthermore, advertising assist the producers announce their promotion campaigns and special offers to buyers. The final destination of these advertising processes is boosting sales and increasing the potential customers.

Looking at another aspect of this positive development, it is obviously seen that the consumers have many choices and basic knowledge about the quality and prices of products of the same kind. They are consulted by many types of information resources from the internet, TV programs, magazine, etc…, which support them get any beneficial information they demand. As a result of providing the comprehensive view about one particular product, advertising create a healthy trading environment among manufactures. For instance, surfing the internet, one student can easily find a suitable IELTS course across many English center.
