Do employers have the right to search job candidates social networking ?

Do you ever want to make sure you are making the right decision in life so that it benefits now and in the future? Well that is what it is like in a business not only do the employers have to make sure the decisions they make are positive but as well as the decisions of people they hire and if they chose wrong not only do they lose their job but the business can go down. Many consequences can follow a bad decision but in a company it can ruin their business, they can be sued and their information can be leaked

The image of the company can either make or break their future. so for the owners of the company to want to check their employees or potential employee social network is totally reasonable. As an employee they owe their job a certain amount of loyalty and if the image of the company is ruined then their job is at risk. If the owner of the company can find something on the employee's social accounts it can inform them if this person is a good candidate to be hired. The history of an employee is very important because anything that can jeopardize the company's reputation is to be noted and avoided.

When a company is booming outsiders may seek to find any type of information about the company that will result into a downfall of the company. Not as many people want to be the one being sued in a lawsuit. It's bad for business , you lose money, you don't get a positive look and not to many people would want to be in business with that company that is being sued. Its very common for people to post what's happening in their everyday life whether it be about their children, spouse, parents or boss which isn't a good idea for what is posted can be used against the company that they work for in a lawsuit because what they have posted is now all over the internet.
