Leadership

Leaders who consistently deliver breakthrough results don't do it alone. They're team players who successfully create environments that inspire and motivate others. Leadership means dealing with reality and making tough (and sometimes unpopular) calls. That's why we encourage people with an empathy and understanding of their colleagues' individual strengths and weaknesses - the acute ability to accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative.

We want you to be a lateral thinker with the foresight to not only identify, but challenge obstacles. To act upon previously unforeseen opportunities and break new barriers. Effective leaders possess the ability to listen and learn from others, regardless of experience or position. It's attributes such as these that help make us all leaders in our own sphere of responsibility.

Capacity

Maximizing your own capabilities and inspiring others to recognize and develop their own is an attribute we all require. That's why capacity is about constantly developing yourself. We're not looking for fanatical perfectionists, but realistic optimists with a winning ‘go for it' attitude. We look for enthusiastic people who can appreciate and then positively exploit the rich cultural diversity within our global framework.

By staying alert to changes in society we eliminate outmoded thinking and techniques. That's why we need people who'll not only keep up with, but also anticipate emerging trends.

Risk Taking

Chasing safe, easily attainable goals is not the way we do business. After all, zero risk = zero change. That's why taking informed risks is fundamental to the innovative spirit that drives us forward. To perpetually reinvent the way we operate we need you to be a proactive and informed risk taker. This means learning about risks before moving ahead.

Looking before you leap to reduce the chances of falling short. Fear of failure leads to stagnant thinking. That's why you'll need the ability to roll with the punches and remain assertive in the face of uncertainty.

Innovation

Even people who are on the right track will get run over if they just stand still. That's why our business is built on innovation. But innovation is not exclusive to specific departments - we expect all P&G people to be creative. Only people have ideas, and groundbreaking thinking yields groundbreaking results.

We'll need you to display infinite curiosity and a healthy disregard for conventional thinking. You'll require the ability to find new and ingenious approaches to existing situations.
