The Aberdeen Marina Club is a unique private community where members and their families enjoy superb facilities, outstanding restaurants and an impeccable level of service (The Aberdeen Marina Club, n.d.), while another words it is aim to provide high quality facilities and services for their customers. To achieve the aim, the design and the management of facilities of the clubhouse need to highly cooperate. For such high class clubhouse, it is obvious to find that the design philosophy of it is based on, high privacy, highly diversified and up-to-date standard; all of these are leading to their ultimate high quality goal.

Starting by the location of facility, it should be considered keeping in mind of the facility's goal and objectives (Fried, 2005). For AMC it has a good site selection, since it is a private clubhouse, there should not be much people reaching hence to maintain a quiet environment. It is therefore together design with a parking building for members and guests driving cars themselves. Though it is a comparable quiet area, there is still public transport can reach the site.

Followed by the whole building design, it can be more illustrated with its design philosophies. The first consideration would be high privacy, as members are expecting all the advantages of private clubs, special personalized services and separate amenities (Huffadine, 2000, p.305). To fulfil the expectation of customers, AMC designs and zone the facilities in a separate area. For example, there are private rooms in every restaurant inside AMC, the activities rooms there are also separated one by one. If members do not need to share the facilities with others, they would feel to have an area with higher privacy.

Secondly is the AMC need to be highly diversified. It is because members and guests would have different needs, as their use of clubhouse is temporary (Huffadine, 2000, p.305). Therefore clubhouse needs to design diversified facilities and services to members, including ice-skating and mini-racetrack for children, lots of sports and recreation venues, together with many courses about different leisure facilities. This also requires the high flexibility of building which is able to change the use of space and equipment. In order to facilitate the design, the management cooperated would include reviewing the leisure trend of community for making frequent fix-up to give high quality facilities, and recruit accomplished coaches in teaching programs to provide high quality services.

Not only being diversified, the next consideration would be up-to-date quality. To keep members' satisfaction to the clubhouse, AMC needs to provide new facilities and services to them. For example The Deck (i.e. one of the restaurants) is not only providing 7 different types of cuisines, but it also introduces the trendy Frozen Yoghurt to its dessert bar, in order
