Dear Mr. Doe,

XYZ Computer company is issuing a Request for a Proposal (RFP) for training of all employees in the use of the industry Microsoft Office software.

Background:

XYZ Computer Company is a third party customer support center. Contracting company's include Dell, HP, and Charter Communications. Support centers are located in St. Louis, Mo, and our headquarters in Chicago, IL. For more information about our company please visit our Web site: www.xyzcomputer.com.

Our company is approximately 300 strong with the employees that will be attending the Microsoft software training. It is critical that the training takes place during normal work scheduled hours of 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Lunch hour is at 11:00 - 12:00 P.M. The training will take place in one week blocks for each class that is to be provided. Training will be held in our main conference room with software and hardware 24 laptops will be provided to create a class size of 24. All laptops will be fully functional, loaded with up-to-date anti-virus software along with the required Microsoft software for the students to use for training. Each device shall also be connected to a secured network server to simulate the internal company I.T. Environment. The MCT vendor will be responsible for training all employees with a class not to exceed 24 hours in one week. Microsoft Certified Trainers are a non-negotiable part of the contract and each employee must be presented with the appropriate Microsoft Certificates at the end of the course.

Each employee entering the class will be tested for application knowledge and then tested again at the completion of each course to determine the quality of services received. The human resources of XYZ company shall be given scores of the before and after test results as well as a copy shall be maintained by the vendor.
