Science is related to everything in this world around us. The constant development in technology increases the knowledge we must learn about science to understand how things work. Marketing applies they definition of science in its principles. The usage of physical science is important because it helps you understand the theories behind consumer buying habits.

How Does Physical Science Relate to Marketing?

Science is in everything around us. Actually, Science is us. Science is defined as systematic knowledge of the physical or material world gained through observation and experimentation and the systematic study of the nature and behavior of the material and physical universe, based on observation, experiment, and measurement, and the formulation of laws to describe these facts in general terms. Science is broken into different categories. Fields of science are commonly classified along two major lines such as Natural sciences, the study of the natural world, and Social sciences, the systematic study of human behavior and society. Physical science is any of several branches of science, such as physics, chemistry, and astronomy, which study the nature and properties of energy and nonliving matter. Marketing is the commercial processes involved in promoting and selling and distributing a product or service. The promotion used in selling products and service relates to physical science in many ways.

A marketing firm must ascertain the nature of customers' buying behavior if it is to market its product properly. In order to entice and persuade a consumer to buy a product, marketers try to determine the behavioral process of how a given product is purchased.
