Evolution of the Kiosk

        The evolution of the Kiosk has made self-servicing more practical today.  We can see Kiosk machines in just about every store we go in these days.  There are kiosks in the malls, grocery stores and outside at your local bank.  Kiosks are instant inventions that accommodate the new way people choose to help themselves (Google, 2015).  

        Kiosks system in the Banking and ATM era are the newest method for communication with customers on a self-service basis.  Although these kiosks are self-servicing, it cuts the needs down of having to stand in a long line.  The kiosk is an instant invention that fills the void of having to make face-to-face contact with tellers.

        For customers, the expansion of kiosks in airports and hospitality industries are there to help customers.  A customer uses these kiosks to acquire, send, update or cancel certain types of information from this web server (Google, 2015).  Kiosks in the retail and grocery industries are no different other than being honest having a security system in place.  Using a Kiosk in this environment will allow a customer to complete a purchase transaction without having a attendant present (Google, 2015).  

        The importance of having Kiosks in these location is to help customers I their time of need.  The impacts of kiosks today face other computers, tablets and sales staff with assistance (Papers.ssrn, 2015).  Kiosks provide several types of information, with this data at your fingertips it is now wonder why this is truly a new technological advancement that is here to stay!
