Marrying the game with the smartwatch make me more vivid understanding about what marketing is. Marketing, by definition, is all the activities that connect people with products. Marketing is more than simply selling a product.It makes me remind that there are different departments take different responsibility in a company. For example, the Electronic product development department handles coming up with novel but reliable ideas. The production department handles production scheduling and product manufacturing. The after-sales department provides good service. These are just the small part of marketing. The merchant has only one goal that how to make more money. So Apple watch improve the function of the product with increasing the price. If game player want to experience more seamless they will buy it. So that it will help increase sales of iwatch. At the time, publishing the news in the Apple Event play a good publicity effect for two brands. It is obvious that Apple’s core competencies include innovation in mobile device technology, strong marketing teams, high quality customer service and a strong financial performance. It also has a strong brand reputation for its products. There is no doubt that a combination of the two brands improve the core competencies of Apple. It also show that impact of technology.
