Amazon is an American e-commerce company based in Seattle, Washington. It was one of the first major companies to sell goods over the Internet and was one of the iconic stocks of the late 1990s Dot-com bubble. After the bubble burst, Amazon faced skepticism about its business model, but it made its first annual profit in 2003.

Amazon.com was founded by Jeff Bezos when he saw huge potential of Internet for its growth in users, which would eventually leads to the immense market. Jeff Bezos, when he was looking into starting Amazon.com, he chose the books because the books were cheap, not heavy which makes delivery easy, and relatively less risk comparing to other books. Also book’s property or quality stays same in regardless of time and place. Along with these reason, one of the most important factor about books in relation to customers which were mostly American was customer would not go crazy
