Music Makes the World Go Around

They say money makes the world go around, they say love makes the world go around…

Good day Mrs Janzkowitz and friends,

Music makes my world go around.

It has been around for at least 50,000 years and most likely originated in Africa. It is a language that everyone knows and speaks in their own way. Music is a connecter. Two completely opposite people that look different, dress different, or have completely different beliefs can have the same connection to music as each other. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you are from, or what you believe. Music is always there for everyone to unite with each other.

For me, music is a way to speak my mind. Music truly endows purpose to my life. It is the breath to my life. It cures me when I am sick and perks me up when I am down. It is the butter to my bread and it is the Yin to my Yang. It is the perfect companion and all I need to make my life complete.

Music is so important to me that I even joined the FPS school junior choir. Whenever I sing in a choir it’s the music that brings us together, breathing as one, thinking as one and singing as one.

I believe in the power of music because without it, my life would crumble. How can someone live without a song in their heart or the sweet sounds music has to bring? Can you imagine the world without “leeeeeet it gooooooo, can hold it back any more” or “Cause if you like the way you look that much, Oh, baby, you should go and love yourself” not for getting one of my old time personal favourites, “I wonder,I wah-wah-wah-wah-wonder,Why, She ran away, my little run away…run, run awaaaaay.

Personally I feel we all can learn from the diverse cultures threw music. Without music there would be no way to express yourself. No way to let people know who you really are or how you really feel. When love falls or the rand is at its lowest all you have and can count on is music. Music will always make my world go around
