Abstract

Effective written communication is obligatory for achieving business goals at any industry. In Human Resource Management communication is the key to success. HR managers arrange, direct, and facilitate the managerial elements of an association. They administer the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staff; counsel with top officials on vital arranging; and serve as a connection between an association's administration and its representatives. In this paper how several types of information technology based  written communication such as text messages, emails, faxes, telex, social network and organizational blogs play an important role to achieve goals in human Resource management are discussed. Special emphasis is given on lately lead social network as a medium of written communication and how is it playing a vital role to Human Resource management. Although there are some drawbacks of using IT based written communication but there are ways to keep it to minimal range through monitoring and surveillance.


Written communication has great significance in today’s business realm. Effective written communication is indispensable for formulating business growth as it is considered to be more legal, official and reliable. Since written communication customarily entails more thought and exertion, writing causes deferral and takes time as feedback is not immediate. In human resource management written communication is indeed essential in order to build, motivate and find out a chunk of great work force. To do this, the managers need to be in a prodigious communication with the personnel. If there is a communication gap between the employers and employees then the outcome would not be as anticipated. The personnel will remain in ignorance about the employer’s plans and expectation and vice versa. This paper will analyze how several types of written communication play substantial role in attaining business aims in Human Resource Management.

Human Resource Management and Written Communication

Gherman and Remus say-The efficiency of human resources management and human resources, in general, refers to both spheres of human activity -productive and unproductive, targeting the actions of obtaining the maximum effect with minimum effort, expenses and time from the human resources (, 2016, p.63).
