                                      Compare and Contrast

During this era, people use emails or regular mails on a daily basis as a method to connect and exchange messages with one another. While they resemble in nature and are relevant examples of communication mediums, there are several differences between them. The main purpose of this paragraph is to compare and contrast specific features of emails and regular mails. For example, one of the most significant similarities would be their main use. They both allowed the transmission of letters, files, or notifications in between authors and recipients. In addition, most of the times they follow the same content structure, which includes the formatting of the letter. Another major similarity is how both required emphasis on the author and the recipient information, such as addresses in order to identify and reply. Even though emails are designed in a way to mimic aspects of postal mails, they differ in a lot of ways. This includes the level of convenience. Sending an email is much more convenient than writing a standard letter because they were always send electronically whereas mails were delivered physically. In this case, as long as there is access to the computers or handheld devices, an email could be send no matter where and there is no need to travel to a post office. In consider of the speed of deliver, the electronic mail system sends messages instantly (within seconds) through the internet, regardless of the destination. However, the regular mails usually take about a week to arrive and it may last longer depending on where it will end up. Although emails are very fast, they lack the flexibility of regular mails. It is possible to send and receive packages, magazines, brochures and more via postal delivery but not by electronic mail. When it gets to the cost, postal mails are much more costly than emails. Another obvious difference would be their structure.  Basically, emails are more modern and use virtual papers, whereas regular mails are more traditional and tactile, which use papers in envelopes with postage stamps. During this period of time, the practice of sending and receiving emails is more popular than ever. They have many advantages and are more efficient compared to regular mails.
