The book “The Best Things in Life” by Peter Kreeft is a fictional story. In this story a philosopher named Socrates has discussion talking about what life, thought and education is about. Socrates thoughtfully connect his knowledgeable method of questioning with people kindness, comedy but also having intentions to prove values like success, power and pleasure is a major key in this story. Socrates teaches the method of philosophy and deep logic of common sense to two people. He leaves them wiser, able to recognize what the best things in life actually are, and wealthier, but the story gives us a different perspective and open our mind up to things that wasn’t noticeable before.

In the book, Socrates talks about lessons that will help through life. The first chapter is where lesson one is and the lesson he teaches us is questioning. You should ask questions to find out things because it helps you not be ignorant.
