The topic

For the topic of this research paper, I picked ‘The evolution of Wireless Technologies’ because it’s one of the fastest growing technologies in today’s society and it has a revolutionary impact on all the industries.

The thesis

The development of wireless technologies has greatly impacted our society. ‘Wireless mobility enables instant communication anywhere, anytime, mobilizing the rapid transfer of information and services over immense distances, unbound by geographic barriers.’ (BSR). With that being said, not only society but also all the industries are greatly impacted, positive and negative, by the evolution of wireless technologies.

The outline of planned research

This research paper will focus on the evolution of wireless technology, the positive and negative effect on society and also the effect on different industries.

The evolution of technology has been an amazing one. Not too long ago only the government used the Internet, and it was completely unknown to most general public. In the first years of wireless technology, wireless it was only used in cell phones.

Generally, our society has beneficiated by the evolution of wireless. It brought us an easier, faster way of communication and access to a variety of resources. Internet technology provides numerous benefits but also some issues like the loss of privacy, new type of crimes and a more sedentary lifestyle.

Last but not least, the Internet evolution had a huge impact on all the industries, from constructions, to medical, education and so on. ‘Technology could improve education dramatically, and some people have looked to the Internet and computers as important educational tools.
