Violence in society

Do we live in a violent society? Throughout history the human race has been in a violent struggle for power, and as we move forward even the youngest in our generation resort to violence to solve there differences. With time intimidation is becoming more and more common and because of the violent world we have created the next generation is growing into more violent society.

While Violence in our society is becoming a common trend. The images and horrors projected by the news emphasise the violence in our society, we not only accept this but glorify it, idolize it, love it. However the images are not only projected by the news but also by the video games we play The violent video games such as grand theft auto, as well as call of duty, conker live and reloaded etc. All these factors influence the children of this world to resort to violence in several situations. Because of this the children of this generation are forced to walk through metal detectors to enter schools and airports etc. The children of this generation are expected to be more violent and with this we fear.

Meanwhile the suicide rate of 2012 is higher than ever, as the Russian suicides in the last 20 years strikes one million and increasing. Suicide is the third leading cause of death for teenagers from the ages of 15-24. Those young men and women whom are intimated by others are more prone to commit suicide, the violence created throughout our society are in many cases the cause for these tragedies.

Also intimidation between people throughout our society is not necessarily physical, psychological intimidation may be a huge factor. Le violence of name calling or teasing someone because they are different shows that we as humans are petty and feel the need to hurt other in any way we can.
