Ruby Tuesday

Ruby Tuesday is a well-known company but has been losing its base within the past few years which seem to be because of the service and the product off food service as well as expensive pricing. The company has been under pressure due to the closing of several Ruby Tuesdays last year. In my opinion the main result of their lose to me is there main customer base which kept them going for so many years the college students. Most if the restaurants of the Ruby Tuesday are by Universities. They have completely forgotten about what got them to where they are. The new imagine that Ruby Tuesday is trying to portray is going to have them closing more restaurants in the near future. The mobile area is one of the restaurants they had to close . The One closed ruby Tuesday in mobile, Al was by the University of South Alabama, the restaurant could not compete with the other restaurants around it due to price and different atmosphere. There are no excitement, no deals, no discount, or even cheap drink specials. Ruby Tuesday is trying to move in a direction of middle class and upper class customers and they are missing the ball.

In my visit to several Ruby Tuesday’s in the past month which is three one in Chattanooga, Tennessee the servicer was nice but the food was awful the biscuits were not appetizing at all. The meals me and my friends ordered were expensive and not really worth the price we paid. The salad bar which Ruby Tuesday is known for was awful, old salad was out on the salad bar and it was not clean. The new drinks they are advertising was not good at all too much going on with it to work. Trying new things and not knowing if it is going to work is a PR problem and Ruby Tuesday has lost sight of what made them. The second
