INTRODUCTION.

Human beings are always faced with several challenges, which are heart- striking because they impinge on humanity and some of those problems go beyond what human being can explain using their sensitivity and reasoning.

One of those challenges is barrenness, which is very disturbing and challenging to all societies.

The problem of infertility is suprisinly common. As many as 50% couples will experience problems in trying to conceive. Traditinally, the finger of 'blame' tended to be pointed at woman as the cause. Unfortunately, alot less is known about male infertility because women have been studied in more detail.

For many people, having children is the most important aim in their lives, and is the thing that gives most purpose and regonition to their lives. Therefore, to be deprived of this experience can cause great anguish and emotional pain.

In view of this problem, this paper investigates the concept of barrenness ; Causes and Suggested solution.

Barrenness Defined and Explained

Infertility can not be defined precisely because there are varying degrees of infertility.

Barrenness is a term synonimous to sterility, in opposition to fecundity. In medical literature, the term 'infertile marriage' means the absence of a pregnancy in a woman of reproductive age, within one year of regular sexual life without application of any contraceptives. (R. Soper,1997)

Barrenness is either of two cases 1. Female or 2.Male infertility

This paper deals with much of female infertilty and barrenness. Female infertility can be caused by impossibility to conceive a child. Based on supervision of experts of obstetricians and gynecologist, about 18% of married couples have some difficulties with inception. However, barrenness is realy revealed in many cases and they required qualified medical aid.

Different Cases of infertility

Medical experts distinguish three kinds of female infertility, which are:

1. Primary : This is the case for those patients who did not have conception through their regular sexual life without any prevention

2. Secondary: This is the case of those women who have children in the past, but at present, can not become pregnant after more than one year under the
