In my opinion, students should be allowed to take part in politics while they are still pursuing their studies.

Firstly, students who are the young generations have the great potential to involve in politics. They have the better physical and emotional state and are very active in this stage. They have also less afraid to fail and fewer prejudices to hold when take part in politics. For example, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim was involved in the politics since he was young. We can see that the indomitable students had a number of very advance ideas rather than the influential politicians, their ability should not be underrated.

Students should be allowed to involve in politics because they have the same and equal rights to express their ideas about the politics. Since Malaysia is a democratic country, the freedom of speech is the primary liberty of a citizen, with the restriction of the law. Students are also the citizens in the country, they have the same rights with other citizens to represent their own opinions about the politics. For example, one of the functions in AUKU (Akta Universiti dan Kolej Universiti) is prohibiting the students to take part in politics, the rights of student to express their ideas and opinion will be abolished.

In conclusion, students should be permitted to involve in politics while they are studying.
