‘STORY OF SANDEEP’

F Sandeep, a 20 year old son of, Krishnappa hails from Hongasandra. His father is a Security Guard. Even with monetary problems going on in his home, Sandeep managed to study up to Diploma in privilege till 2nd year and then discontinued his studies due to personal reasons. Sitting idle at home and not going to college or for work he became a burden for his parents.

He then thought of reducing the burden of his parents by doing some work and then thought of joining some work. But due to lack of communication and Skill problem he was unable to get proper job

Then through mobilizer Mr. Jairam he came to know about YES Skill Development Centre and then he registered for Auto Service technician Training Programme at SKF.

When he joined YES Centre, he was not comfortable towards the handling of tools and machinery. But, at the end of the same day, he started feeling that he will be able to do the work comfortably without any problem.

During the training period, he learnt many things about mechanisms, which gave him confidence in working at any showroom. During training program he learnt 2 and 4 wheeler mechanisms, Computer knowledge and life skill etc. Moreover he gained confidence to become a complete technician.

After training he got his job with Sirish Auto as a Junior Technician and started earning                                  a sum of ₹ 7000/month. Now as he is earning pretty well at his job, this has made his parents proud of him.

Now he says, “I am very happy to complete my training from YES Skill Development Centre which has changed my lifestyle and condition of living and now I am able to support my family from the income earned. Thank you SKF.”
