"People do not change" or thoughts a beginner psychologist

I love to watch people. A lot. Over time, my hobby sucked me and taught to understand people. I started thinking how we change through our lifetime. The core of the person is not to change the behavior changes. "People do not change." According to me, this is certainly true, but with certain exclusions. People do not change, but their habits can go into the background, to become not quite so nasty or even give uniqueness. People do not change, but acquire new "gags". People do not change, but are trying to prove to everyone around the opposite.

I will try to explain more in detail. With regard to old habits: I have one friend in school, he was known as a boy who gets along badly with members of their own sex. Well never had his normal boys’ vs boys’ friendship. There were many rumors. But in the end, when he grew up, his courageous peers were nothing close to him in terms of looking after the girls. And he became a Casanova for our ladies'. It would seem – man changed. But still no! He always knew how to behave in front of women! He was always a friend with them. What was once considered the lack of it, he turned into a virtue. Himself, or it just happened, who knows.

About the new "gags". Many people are like sponges absorb habits of others. Phrases, intonations, movements. Once again, I had a girlfriend, and we were thick as thieves. She moved to a different city and I haven’t seen her for a while and one day she came to visit me. The guy who lives next door at first thought that we sisters. Then I began to notice how we have the same behavior. As time went on. Due to the difference in the directions we choose to study, different cities and more and more reasons, we have to move away from each other. When we met after a while, I noticed, as we both have changed. There is no longer a single drop of similarity. There are common threads, habits, tastes, but we are quite different. That's proof that people change, you say? Well I will return to this in the conclusion.
