"Could've Had A V8" advertising campaign with a new twist to motivate people to get more vegetables in their diets. "Long Live Vegetables" features real people, over the age of 60, who all have two things in common – they're extraordinarily active for their age, and they drink V8 100% vegetable juice nearly every day.

What media are used to currently advertise your product?

Online. V8 beverage Website. Commercialson television, in print publications

online ads, newsletters, new product launches and micro sites. I have also helped push the brand into exploring social media as a valuable advertising platform.

V8's limited marketing dollars in Media and as such there are only a limited number of measures to show how V8's advertising worked.

Thw "pre" and "post" advertising awareness survey dips were conducted10 and these indicated that the advertising built awareness of V8 overall.

Brand awareness increased amongst our core target of younger females.

What is the main creative objective of their past advertising?

Past Advertising ws targeted to Moms

Companies are producing drinks that are being marketed towards the health-conscious sector looking for natural and healthy benefits.

V8 uses Media to send out a message that there is was a better choice [in general] available, telling people why choose the lesser in value/benefit when you could could have had more healthy drink that is as refreshing as colas.

V8 is a healthy juice made from vegetables and spices. It is better for you than other drinks. So when they say, "I should've had a V8" they're angry at themselves for not choosing a healthy and tasty juice drink.

V8 juice is a better drink and choice than colas and other sugar sweetened beverages, but with its high salt content it's not as healthy as fresh vegetable juice from a juicer. V8 is good choice if consumed in moderation, particularly if you're on the run and don't have time to get five to seven servings of fruits and vegetables.
