Assignment 1

Task 1

Duggan (2016) describes training and development as two separate entities, referring to the topic as being conducive by timing. Training, described as a process by which people are taught critical skills. Development, described as preparing people for additional job roles for long terms success. Magdaline et al. (2014) describes training and development as formal, ongoing efforts of an organization to improve performance and work output through a variety of methods and programs.
