       It’s not about knowing what you are selling but about where to sell, how to sell, and for how much to sell. A Baniya knows to run a business; A Pucca Baniya knows how to run a profitable one! It’s that time of the year when you hone your selling & marketing skills and use financial management to maximize your profits. Master the art of negotiations and what better to do it in the colleges and streets of Mumbai.

Guidelines

1. The participants can buy the products from Pucca Baniya store only.
2. There will be limited teams in the event, with a team size of three.
3. The event will run for 3 days i.e., November 12th to November 14th, 2014.
4. Team registration will be done online @ http://goo.gl/forms/qkYyVz27ud
5. Registered teams are advised to reach the venue on November 11th 2014 for team Id allotment and to collect the inventory.
6. It is advised to carry adequate amount of cash for the event depending upon the products that the participants are more likely to sell. Remember it’s the million day sale! 
7. Few product categories will also be listed online.
8. It is advised to carry a Smartphone / Tablet for better inventory management.
9. Teams can buy products from Pucca Baniya store (no buying limit). The minimum buy-in per team on the registration will be INR 2000.0, non-refundable.
10. However, beyond that all unsold items can be returned. Kindly check the product before you buy in case of doubts. Once taken out of store, it is the responsibility of teams. If the product is lost or damaged, it won’t be taken back by the Pucca Baniya store.
11. Teams have to sell products over three day’s period. Points will be given to each team and the team with highest points will be declared winners.
12. Each team will get 1 point per INR purchase at Pucca Baniya store. Eg: If a product of Rs. 100 is purchased and the product is sold (at whatever price) the team will get 100 points. However, if the team returns the product back to the Pucca Baniya store, they get 0 points.
13. Profit can be retained by teams.
14. Final valuation, returning of items & WINNERS declaration to be done on November 16th 2014.
15. Final communication regarding Product Prices will be made during the registration process. Though a tentative price list will be emailed soon.
16. Carry Money in all denominations (Rs. 10, 20, 50, 100, 500). Change won’t be available at the Pucca Baniya store.
17. Advance Booking Rules: In case the store goes out of stock for any of the products, then those products can be booked in advance on cash payment upfront at the stall. However, the advanced booking cannot be cancelled.
18. On the spot challenges will be announced from time to time during the event. Teams need to keep an eye on the Pucca Baniya display board where these challenges will be detailed.
19. Pucca Baniya team coordinators will be present throughout the length of the event to help the teams in case they seek clarification over a subject.
