Business Principles:

Since the use of internet is increasing quite quickly, the business that I have decided to start is selling a body accessory which is a ring. The product will be from a brand called Secret Wood which is from Canada. It is a high quality product and is not sold in Thailand, it is also very beautiful and I like it myself as well which is why I have decided to sell this product. I would like my business to be the leading and only online shop in Thailand which sells this product. What I plan to do is wait for the customers to order the products, and then I will order it from the official website of the company. I will then get the product and deliver it by mail or by myself to the customers.

Product and Price:

        My product is created by a company located in Vancouver, British Colombia. They are specialized in hand crafted rings. The ring is made from jewelry resin and fine woods. [pic 2][pic 3]

        Price of the rings ranges from $120 to $165 which is about 4200 baht to 5800 baht. However, if I buy a lot of rings, I will be able to receive a discount as well as free shipping from Canada.

Mission:

        My business’ mission statement is to be the leading online seller of Secret Wood rings in Thailand. The price I will sell will be cheaper than if the customers buy it themselves. I have plans to increase the product range such as necklaces or bracelets, but I will start with only the ring first. I only sell the products which I think I would want to have and is of high quality and not sell anything that I think is not really nice and of low quality.

Vision:

        “To introduce beautiful products to people”

Inspiration:

        I like products which are beautiful and never seen before. I like something that other people do not have. I found this product while I was browsing the web and thought to myself that I would like to have the ring for myself. I then thought that other people would also like to have it. I asked a few friends what they thought about the ring and they all loved it as well that is why I think it would be a good product to have.

Current Market:

        There are currently many online shops which sells body accessories such as necklaces and bracelets. Many people nowadays prefer to buy products online instead of going to buy somewhere because it is easier to get the product that they would want. I believe this business is doing well, I have purchased a bracelet online myself as well. However, I have not seen any shop in Thailand which sells this product or any similar products. Most rings I have seen being sold are mostly silver rings which you can write your name on it which I think is too simple and indifferent. Most of the body accessories are mostly jewelry which are made from silver or gold. The price is also not really high compared to what I am selling which is Secret Wood ring.
