The Mayor and Council of the District of Papar are committed to maintain a strong focus on a sustainable future and creating a modern and progressive town. They are trying to make planning in order to create a bright and better future for the development of District of Papar in the economic, industrial, agriculture and especially in the tourism aspects.

Therefore, the need for accommodations in District of Papar has been identified as being desirable for the community and consistent with the sustainable development plans. Hence, we decided to establish a bed and breakfast inn. Before that, feasibility study will be conducted and come out with a feasibility report.

Feasibility report is the process of defining exactly what an idea, product or service is and the types of strategic issues need to be considered to assess its feasibility, or the possibility in succeeding (Feasibility Report Formulation, 2000). Feasibility report is usually used when starting a new business and when identifying a new opportunity for an existing business.

This feasibility report will outline the feasibility of locating a bed and breakfast inn in the city of Papar and see whether the establishment of bed and breakfast inn is viable or not and whether it is a potential business or not. Bed and breakfast inn or B&B is a small lodging establishment that offers overnight clean, attractive accommodation and breakfast (Wikipedia – Bed and Breakfast). It offers an alternative lodging experience to the normal hotel or motel. Besides that, the host also offers to help the guests with directions, restaurants, and suggestions for local entertainment or sightseeing. This feasibility report will consider, evaluate and analyze the product/service feasibility, industry/market feasibility, organizational feasibility and financial feasibility.
