INTRODUCTION
BillCutterz.com was established in May 2009, it was the idea given by Mindy Niles to Barry Gross. The idea behind this venture is to help their clients save money on their monthly bills. The expert team in the company contacts the various service providers and tries to manage a lower rate on the bills. The company not only serves individuals and households for savings but it also caters to businesses and non-profit organizations. They work on various areas starting from cell phone bills, electricity bills, bundles; Internet bills but a variety of different other option relating to bills.
Company is currently lead by Barry Gross the Founder and President of the company. The company promises 3 major things to their clients 1.) If they don’t save money, there is no cost 2.) Their customers get best rates possible 3.) They protect their personal information to the fullest. 4.Transparency. Their biggest positive is they only charge when they create savings for their customers.
Their work includes 1.) Analyze the bills for potential savings 2.) Call the customers service provider on their behalf 3.) Negotiate the best rates possible.
BUSINESS MODEL AND STRATEGY
Billcutterz.com fundamental was perfectly clear and it was to save the bill amounts for the customers. The company would negotiate on lower rates on the monthly bills for services such as electricity, utilities, phone, cable etc. The company did not charge fee unless they negotiate the price for their customers. The profit formula was highly dependent on the company’s saving experts. Company’s key strategy was also to increase their client base through current client references and also through social media marketing.
