AutoZone vs. Advance Auto parts

AutoZone is #1 in the auto part retail industry. AutoZone has been around since 1979 when it was known as Auto Shack and consisted of just one single store. Now AutoZone has over 2,900 stores and over 40,000 employees. AutoZone always puts customers first. The employees goes far beyond their means to make the customer to return to a store where they will get the best parts at the right price. At the stores they offer free services to the customers which consist of battery, alternator, and starter check before the customer replaces it. The employees also installs batteries, wipers, and light bulbs. What it takes to do the job right is a vital concept that AutoZone employees build trust with the customers. The employees only sells what the customer needs nothing more and nothing less.

Advance Auto Parts is # 2 in the auto part retail industry. Advance has been around since 1932 when it was purchased from pep boys which consisted of only three stores. Now there are more that 3,000 stores and over 4,3000 employees. Advance works hard to create an environment of honesty, integrity, mutual trust and dedication. Since 1932 the values has not changed which consist of inspire and build self confidence and success of the employees, serve the customers better than anyone else-help them succeed and to grow the business and profitability with integrity. At advance there are no free services that is offered from the employee.

Auto Zone is more successful than Advance due to the free services that a customer can get and the trustworthy advice that they can get from Auto Zone. The customers are always first.
