Today's social world requires everything in fast , even what to eat also required to serve quick and convenient. Therefore, nowaday’s fast food industry was the most trending in the worldwide. McDonald’s is one of the famous fast food corporation in the worldwide.Ray  Kroc, was an American historical businessman which famous for expanding McDonald’s from America local chain to the world’s most cost-efficient restraurant franchise . By 1958 ,3 years opening in the beginning ,  MsDonald’s had served 100millionth hamburger. (McDonald’s,S.2006)

McDonald’s served burgers,sandwiches,soft drinks,coffee , ice cream and other fast food in the air-conditioned premises throughout most of the parts of Singapore.First outlet was opened in Singapore at Liat Towers in 1979. The key of McDonald’s is never just provide quick meals , but also the quality,tastes,lifestyle and choices for foods, and keep it along the way,today and tomorrow. Many operate for 24 hours business and offer free wi-fi ( wireless internet) access.Until today, there are about 100 McDonald’s brances located all across the island of Singapore whicj employing around 6,000 staffs.Most of this branches are equipped with free Wi-Fi internet access and 24hours operating the whole year through.( goodfood.sg,2014)

Political Factors

McDonald’s started it’s 1st branch in Singapore in 1979 . Currently in Singapore island have more than 110 branches and its serve 1.2 million every week. McDonald’s business are highly influenced by the political condition in Singapore.The policies of Singapore government’s rules and regulation are caused impact to the McDonald’s business . Even Singapore’s government are remain stability, they also required a proper license , tax issues , and employee laws to control the food industry. Singapore is a organizational country and the power of country is fully control by government.For certain, there is also the government advertising about control the food consuming for healthy lifestyle.They claim that unhealthy elements like cholesterol and adverse will lead the effects like obesity. Another factor is employee laws which required there is a maximum working hours for a staff , which mean this will lead McDonald’s to hire more staff . For overall,the political status in Singapore  still acceptable and so far McDonald’s can operate smoothly.  (Ivythesis, 2011)

Economic Factors

The ongoing global economic downturn, which as meant in the introduction had  the ongoing global economic recession, which as explained in the introduction has knocked down the profitability of many companies.However, economy in Singapore is highly attracted by different industries of the world.Eonomy in Singapore is much stable and there is no foreign debts. Government revenue is high and consistenly. During the financial crisis ,which world was facing challenges from economic slowdown 2007-2008, economy of Singapore had proved its strength and stability of economy.Even Singapore is a very small country and also less natural resources, buut in fact in 2010 Singapore is the fastest growing economy of the world.Which meant in another word, economy of Singapore is highly beneficial for the food industry because it is a tourist place and local Singaporean is able to consume McDonald’s.So far, McDonald’s had established itself in Singapore very well.
