The death of Osama bin laden has had no effect on issues we have with terrorism.  I say this due to the fact that terrorism is still relevant today.  Until his death, some believed he was untouchable. If you take a second to think about it, in any situation you have the option to fight or flight.  Terrorist could have fled with their tails between their legs; or they could rally their forces and continue what they set out to do. In this case as it refers to terrorism, Al-Qaeda forces and ISIS forces rallied and continued their attacks.  They are linked to bombings and executions of civilians some of which were American.  Affiliates Osama bin laden help form in the Arabian Peninsula and Somalia are still recruiting and financing and training them for attacks.  Due to the lack of ability and appeal to change the current situation despite Osama bin laden's death; his goals may be accomplished.

Osama bin laden's death has effected terrorist groups in more ways than one.  Al-Qaeda and ISIS forces now know that groups and organizations who stand against them will not stand for it.  A good example is the death of Osama bin laden himself.  The one who was untouchable and who could not be reached is no more.  American and allied forces have claimed territory, and gave it back to its people.  Terrorist forces have been pushed out and are seeking refuge elsewhere.  They are not funded like they used to be with the presence of American forces cutting their funds at the source.  Military intelligence is consistently giving ground forces the edge they need to seek and destroy terrorist groups.  In many cases they have prevented carefully plotted bombings.

If the death of Osama bin laden has effected terrorist groups, then why are there more attacks and why are there people claiming their alliance to Al-Qaeda and ISIS terrorist groups.  Proof has shown that these malicious groups have multiplied in number and are learning tactics.  These terrorist groups are still being funded by alliances Osama bin laden himself helped form.  The has been no effect on terrorist groups, if anything the death of Osama bin laden has encouraged terrorist attacks.
