Introduction

This is the report about the differentiation of manager and leader and the theories apply in The Coca Cola Company as a human resource manager to CEO of the organization. In this report, differentiation of the manager and leader and highlighting the different between management and leadership are described in the task 1 and the difficult situation of The Coca Cola and how they solved it a and the theories used in The Coca Cola Company are presented in task 2. This report will present the differentiation of manager and leader, management and leadership, and the role and functions of manager and leader clearly. And then, management and leadership theories used in the organization (The Coca Cola Company) are also involved in this report.

The organization structure of The Coca Cola Company

This is the report about the differentiation of the leadership and management. In the selected organization (The Coca Cola Company), the organization structure are separated by functional and regional. The Coca Cola is tall in term organization structure. The Coca Cola Company is through the vertical hierarchic structure through upper levels to operational levels. At the top of the organization, there is a president of coca cola. And at the middle of the organization, the departments are separated functionally and regionally. There are corporate staff department, marketing department, finance department and manufacturing department in the middle functional separated part of the organization. In the middle of the organization, the organization structure is also divided by regional. Eurasia and Africa division, Europe division, Latin America division, North America division and Pacific division are the middle regional separated parts of the organization. There are sub divisions from each main divisions. President of Coca Cola is the top manager of the organization and the departments’ managers and regional divisions’ managers are middle manager of the organization. And the manager from the sub divisions from each main divisions are operational managers. This is the organization structure of the Coca Cola Company.
