VIII - Groups observations, conclusions & recommendations

Group observation:

Our group observed that Nestlé ensures that their company follows the rules but also has the heart when it comes to the area of staffing management. As students of HR, we are amazed at how this course is happening in real-life. That every topic we learned in Recruitment, Selection, Training and Development, Retention and etc. is done in the industry especially in Nestlé.

CONCLUSION:

According to Nestlé, "Creating Shared Value is a fundamental part of Nestlé's way of doing business that focuses on specific areas of the Company's core business activities – namely water, nutrition, and rural development – where value can be created both for society and shareholders." This is also proven when we interviewed HR personnel of Nestlé. She emphasized that "How we value customers, that's how we also value employees." serves as a proof how important their employees to them. From start to finish of staffing management, her statement divulges that their organization doesn't neglect employees. They don't just recruit, evaluate, assess their performance, and let go those who are no longer needed or who do not meet your company's performance standards. They are treated well and the Human Resource Department provides its support to the employees which are considered as their building blocks.

When it comes to hiring and staffing, Nestle also follows policies which will be the basis for the legalities of the organization. These policies aims recruit and retain employees of the highest quality and motivation in order to fulfill the organization's aspiration to maintain its position as one of the country's leading food and Beverage Company. These also ensure that employees receive the necessary opportunities and incentives to develop relevant skills and thus realize their full potential as productive members of the organization.—again they see to it that the organization helps the employees to develop their careers and opportunities for improvement.
