Many people are almost completely dependent on the Internet; we do everything online, and can spend hours browsing the web anywhere. The Internet can be used for anything from learning, entertainment, working, communication, and trying to change the world. Internet access is an innovative tool that has can bring great improvements into our lives, as long as we apply common sense when using it. Today, one of the most concerning issues regarding teenagers is that their access to technology has gotten far out of control. However, there are some that believe the Internet is making a positive impact on teens’ daily lives. The benefits of Internet usage outweighs the harms allowing teens to develop their own individuality by impro their health, while also expanding their knowledge and communication skills, which in turn, can determine their capabilities into developing a long term career.

With the use of computers, smartphones, and endless web browsing, technology has become a useful source allowing teens to figure out who they are and how to improve their health. Studies prove that Internet access allows people, and especially teenagers, to discover a lot of information regarding personal issues that are too difficult to bring up to adults or to their parents. There are many reliable sites that offer a great deal of help on personal health, depression, sexuality, and a lot more. In the web article, “13 Reasons Why the Internet is Good for You,” they claimed one out of six teenagers rely on the internet to find out information about drugs, sexual health, and depression. Searching health and personal issues online can help teenagers to express themselves, while figuring out who they are on their own. For teens who are afraid to ask questions, the Internet is a useful tool they can utilize for advice regarding their personal health. Using technology can give people a more comprehensive understanding on their individual health issues while also allowing them to discover who they are.

Although the Internet is useful in finding information and answering questions about teen health, it can also increase the number of graduates at all universities. Today, in our modern society teens without computer access has a major disadvantage in their education career. The large number of courses available online offer many possibilities for students, as well as flexible class hours, depending on their schedules. In the last five years, the number of students taking online courses has shot up 96% (González). The Internet is home to many different learning styles, which are open to anyone, as long as they have Internet access.
