1. Car Park Lighting

Lighting influences the perception of security and safety in a facility. The lighting facilities at the car park of Wet World Water Park is not good enough. Some of the other lights in the car park are not working and is very dark in the evening. All the visitors does not feel safe when leaving there and the cars that are parked cannot be seen without lights. So, it is important to make an improvement of the lighting facilities at Wet World Water Park. The car park manager should make sure that the lights at the car park must come from several directions. They also should have a visual inspection and electrical testing regime and aim to change ‘lamps’ every three years on most units. Besides that, improving the lighting problems would also reduce the antisocial behaviour in this area.

1. Car Park Cleaning

A basic inspection of the facility should be done on a routine basis. We can found that there are a lot of debris, trash and rubbish around the car park area. A good time to check is first thing in the morning so can see how the garage looks before cars fill the spaces. This messiness can contribute to a perception of poor security on the part of the visitors who park in the facility. Keeping an outdoor car park area clean all the time is difficult, but is necessary.

1. Car Park Drainage System

The car park drainage system are one of the important issue because the surface water can create long term maintenance problems to the outdoor car park of Wet World Water Park. In fact, when there was a heavy rain, the surface water couldn’t flow to the drain easily due to the low efficiency of drainage system. Hence, this will causes the corrosion of the outdoor car park surface and flooding occurred especially during the rainy days. The corrosion of the surface will definitely bring the dissatisfaction of the visitors and it would spoil the image of the Wet World Water Park. To improve the drainage system, car park manager of the Wet World Water Park has to ensure the cleanliness of the drain to let the rain water flow smoothly. Secondly, the manager could dig some hole which connected to the drain to ensure the surface water could easily flow to the drain. Hence, with the improvement of drainage system, it could avoid the corrosion of the car park surface and flooding problem occur.
