Introduction

L.C. is a 67 year old Hispanic male living in Warner Robins, Georgia. He is the member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where we met approximately six years ago. He was informed that I am in college to obtain my Bachelor degree in Science of Nursing and all the information obtained for my assignment is confidential and his name will not be used only his initials. After a Sunday service I approached Mr. L. C. and requested a meeting to obtain the data needed for this paper and plans were made for date and time. The meeting took place at Mr. L.C.'s house.

Client Profile/Biographic Data

L.C. is an only child and was born in April 15, 1946 in Miami, Florida. His father was born in Guatemala and immigrated to the United States in 1942 where he worked as truck driver performing trips all over the nation including Alaska and died at age of 52 from cirrhosis of the liver and several comorbidities related to alcohol consumption. His mother was born in Nicaragua and immigrated to United States right after married Mr. L.C.'s father, was a home maker, and is 88 years old lives in California and has no significant health problems.

Family Profile

L. C. has been married once but he had a daughter before he married his wife. He met his wife in Miami thirty five years ago while working as aircraft mechanic at the local airport. She was a flight attendant working in an international airline. They married, lived in Miami for many years until Mr. L.C. obtained a job at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia where he works as C- 130 military airplanes aircraft mechanic. They had two daughters and a son. Their oldest son is thirty four years old and works at Robins Air Force Base as electrical engineer; their second child is thirty three years old science teacher and cheerleader coach at a local high school; their last one is twenty four years old and is in the medical school at Mercer University. All three children live with them and they single.

Occupation Profile

L.C. is aircraft mechanic since the age of twenty. He worked for several commercial airlines in the past but he states that commercial airplanes are boring and he is happy now working on military airplanes. L.C. says that he inspired his son to be electrical engineer with specialization in military airplanes.

Living Environment Profile

L. C. lives in a one story house with his wife, three children, and one dog. The three children, especially the two daughters, help Mr. L.C. and his wife with all the house chores such as cleaning, shopping, and cooking. They all are very close; L.C and his three children go to the local movie theaters at least three times a month and he said they do not
