My Qualities in a Mate
There are a few qualities that I would like to have in a mate. It’s not about the gifts or the money because no one can’t buy my love. I love to spend the rest of my life with someone who feels the same way I do, like getting married and being happy forever. It may be difficult looking for that special someone, but they are out there somewhere. The qualities that I want in a mate are honesty, trust, and dependable.
The first quality I would like to have in a mate is honesty. Honesty is when a person can come to me and tell the truth no matter what the circumstances are. Dictionary.com says it mean “truthfulness, sincerity, or frankness.” For example, if they do something wrong like going to the club or party without me knowing, but they can come and talk to me about it, I will respect that. Another thing is if they let me know from the beginning if they have female friends I should know about I wouldn’t have no problems with them. I would rather for the honesty to hurt than be lied to. It might be hard finding faithful, but there are still some out here somewhere. This is one of my qualities in a relationship.
The second quality I would like to see in a mate is trust. Trust is someone you can rely on. Dictionary.com says it mean “confident expectation of something; hope.” I can be committed to a person who I can trust. For instance, I want my mate to be the type of person if someone flirts with them, they overlook that. Another example, if they can come to me and talk to me about anything no matter if I get mad or not. I want that best friend type of mate. All of this plays a role in honesty. I want his actions to be able to prove that I can trust them. This is a quality I want my mate to share with me.
