4) There are four different views that make up the lifespan perspective. The first of these perspectives is that it lasts your entire life. The second view is that it is very plastic. The third view is that is it is caused by different powers going against each other. The last of these views is that it is multidimensional and multidirectional, which is the answer to number 4. (Pg 8)

7) Freud discovered the theory called the psychosexual theory. It basically was a theory that helped parents with their children through their sexual stages of development. Children go through stages and they begin to have sexual drives and aggression. People did not like the idea of people stressing the idea of parents talking to their children about sexual desires. It overemphasized the influence of sexual feelings in development. (Pg 15-16)

8) When someone is studying people’s response to behaviors it is called behaviorism. It is basically giving someone a stimulus and recording the response or how their behavior is affected by the stimuli. (pg 17)

9) Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience is a study that has become more popular in the last few decades. This study is very complex that it requires many different types of researchers including psychology, biology, neuroscience, and medicine researchers. The brain is complex and with this science, they want to study how the brain and developing processing skills affect their behaviors. (Pg 21)

11) In Correlational design, observers watch people in every day environments and in their every day life to see if and how these occurrences affect their behavior and development. Each of their characteristics can affect their behavior. (Pg 34)

15) In order to protect the different people that are being observed, every study that is being done must be reviewed by the Institutional Review Boards. Their main responsibility is to make sure that the study that is being conducted does not possibly affect psychological or physical injury to the person being studied. (Pg 40)
