Scientific Method Project
The Scientific Method: The common steps scientists use to gather information to solve problems.
In this project, you will be designing a solution to a problem that you or your classmates face frequently using the Scientific Method. Use the steps of the Scientific Method attached to this assignment.
Your Problem: Your Xbox remote control’s batteries keep running out, and it’s costing you a lot of money to keep replacing them. You will design an experiment that will allow you to test how to get the most battery time for your money. (The variable in your experiment will be the battery life, another consideration for your analysis will be the cost of the batteries.)
Problem (Phrased as a question – What are you trying to learn?):im trying to learn what is the best battery with the least amount of money. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Hypothesis (a testable explanation for a question or problem): what is the best batteries for the least amount of money and if you spend more on batteries will you get your money’s worth ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Materials used: im going to use my console my tv my new cheap batteries and my new pricy batteries. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
