Reasoning Aptitude

The reasoning career activity was a big help, I already knew that I was struggling in presentation when I did this activity. In my results it gave me a good amount of tips to help develop better presentation skills. I learned a lot from the tips they gave me I learned that, before presenting my message I can think of how to communicate my genuine concern to the audience, to show them something in my presentation that clearly demonstrates my commitment to the message. I have to use appropriate body language to reinforce my spoken words, and ensure that the audience understands the importance of the message. Another great tip was to practice my presentations in front of a mirror. If at all possible, I should access a video or audio recorder and record my presentation, review it back and make corrections oin areas that did not come out as well as expected and try again. This is the most helpful tip of all tips I have received. Learning from my tips, persuasive communication can help me become a better speaker in the career that I choose. To be able to persuade is critical in the business world. Day-to-day I would need to convince workers to work hard on company goals and to persuade fellow employees and clients to consider suggestions and ideas that are put forth. If I can master my presentation and persuasion skills, I will not only win the support of others, but I also will be able to unify my team and encourage them to work together.
