From the histogram, boxplot, and summary statistics we can review the fat content for both ice cream brands combined. From the histogram we can see that there is one possible outlier and a visible gap. The histogram is bimodal and can be said to be skewed right. The center and spread that should be used is median and IQR. When looking at the boxplot above we can see that it is skewed right with no outliers. The data seems consistent. From the summary statistics we can see that the mean (11.17) is larger than the median (10.5) supporting the observation of a skewed graph.

Using the information gathered about the variables we can determine if there is an association between calories and fat. When determining a correlation; we must also remember, "correlation does not mean causation". In that, yes, two variables may be correlated, but one variable may bot necessarily cause the other, and vice versa. To begin to examine whether there is an association or not we must look at the scatterplot of the two variables on the following page.
