Explain the benefits of studying overseas.

Overseas study has been more prevalent as the number of overseas student is increasing dramatically. Overseas study is defined as an education or undergraduate study in a foreign university. The following part of this essay demonstrates three major benefits of overseas study which are better education,broaden horizons and qualification of getting permission of permanent residence.

Obviously,good education is the greatest benefit brought by overseas study because what most students pursuit is high standard education. With high-tech equipment,abundant resources and professional teaching team,many foreign universities can provide these education which is many times better than that offered in overseas students’ own country. For example,compared to Chinese university,there is a wider range of courses in American university,which means multiple subjects or fields are provided. And this reduces the difficulties of job searching. In contrast,subjects and courses are limited when students confirm their major. To get diploma or certificate, the requirement of job,several fixed exams are needed to pass and the long-term preparation of exam can be really insignificant. Furthermore,benefits in education involve an improvement of ability of independent learning and social skills.

Another benefit contributes to the prevalence of overseas study is horizons broadening. Historical reputation is not the reason why some university can get attention of a huge amount of overseas students,but the supplement in abilities such as communication,organization and social intercourse. It can not be denied that the abilities above are necessary for university study. And these abilities are developed in the process of broadening horizons.
