Tu Trinh(Tr.): Why do you want your sister to marry a wealthy , young and strong foreigner?

Phuong(P):I want the best for my little sister. I think that she is deserved to have a better wealthy life. Phuong trust me and she always in the company with me . She is young and delicate, she needs someone that can protect her and give her a better life .

Tr. : Why don’t you want Fowler to be with Phuong?

P:believe that Fowler has ruined my sister’s chances for respectable marriage. Especially that he already has a wife and they are not divorced, which proves that he is not a trust worthy man.

Tr. :Do you think Fowler love Phuong ?

P:I don’t think that he really love Phuong . Looking at the fact that he lied to Phuong, telling her that the wife has agreed to a divorce. showed the letter to me and i know English. truth is revealed .

Tr.: How do you think about Pyle ?

P:Pyle is truly a wealthy, young and strong American . He is thoughtful and intellectual, serious and principled. Tr. :Do you think that Pyle would be a better husband for Phuong ?

P:Yes , I would want Pyle to be Phuong’s husband since he is a more beneficial option than Fowler, especially age. Therefore i attempted to set up a meeting without Fowler’s presence.

Tr.: Why did you help Pyle to meet Phuong ?
