Cathay Pacific is established in 1946 and hence it has great experience in providing good airline service. They provide passenger flights and cargo services to over 168 destinations in 42 countries worldwide. Secondly, Cathay Pacific owns 135 wide-body aircraft and till June 2013, the average age of its aircrafts is around 9.7 years, which is one of the youngest among the world. Moreover, Cathay Pacific strives to build up a modern and fuel-efficient fleet and they have ordered 80 new aircrafts which will be delivered on or before 2020. It can shows to the public that they have social responsibility and they will care for the environment. Thirdly, Cathay Pacific has developed a good brand image as it took the “Best Airline Business Class” honour at the 2013 Business Traveller China Awards. Fourthly, as more and more passengers like to use mobile boarding pass to check-in as it is very convenient, Cathay Pacific and Dragonair make the mobile boarding pass service available through Passbook on IOS in order to make your journey more convenient. Passengers can store their Cathay Pacific or Dragonair mobile boarding pass in Passbook and it is easily accessible even when you are offline and you don’t have to download or use other mobile apps. At the airport, passengers can simply scan the Passbook barcode to get in the flight. Lastly, Cathay Pacific has a group of professional and well-trained flight attendants as Cathay Pacific won the “World’s Best Cabin Staff” honors in the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards programme.
