Riordan Manufacturing Virtual Organization set high standards among the members of their team. The standards consist of low to moderate in aggressiveness, high in risk tolerance and focused on means and its outcome. An organization culture is established by tradition, current customers, and the way things operate. Founders of the organization have made huge impacts on the culture. The culture characteristics concept are base of value, leadership, action, motivation, ethics, work-life balance and reaching out to help others develop and meet full potential. (Robbins & Judge, 2011).The potential influence the company seeks is to trust and respect. Every employee deserves mutual trust, respect, honesty and openness. The organization allows people to be themselves and to express their feelings and mood without shame, guilt or fear reprimand (Robbins & Judge, 2011).

Having fear resistance whenever there is change is normal. It's natural for employees to be affected no matter what position they are in wondering about the new processes or improvement can affect them on a personal standpoint. Strategies that can manage resistance to change are, involving other parties in planning of the change by asking for suggestion and bounce back their ideas and remaining open and honest (Robbins & Judge, 2011). Another way to reduce resistance is to understand the need for the change by communicating in writing the strategic decision. Addressing the people needs, focus on what is needed to be changed, and this can be done by retain friendships in small groups and comfortable environment. Conducting the proper training programs that can help develop basic skills can manage change. Having flexibility will allow complete task and redefine their roles and this will assimilate new throughout the way (Robbins & Judge, 2011).
