The process to roast full Marmot meal using red hot stones

In the autumn in the Mongolian countryside, people hunt for wild animal, such as, deer, boar, antelope and marmot. Wild animal meat is very delicious, but it is difficult to cook. Marmot is the easiest to roast, because their skins are suitable for using as skin bags for red hot stones. This essay will explain how to roast marmots with red hot stones. It will be seen that marmots are hunted before their meat is roasted.

Firstly, the people hunt for marmot. It takes few hours. They lay on the ground and wait for marmots till they go out from their hole. Then, a mature marmot is shot on the head, not a baby. The full skin is need, because it is full by meat and water.

Second, smooth stones which are made into the fire, are collected from the river and burned by only woods. Few hours later, stones are ready to cook.

Third, the meat and bones are separated carefully from the skin. If skin is cut it will be useless. After that, some unnecessary things will be lost for example: a head and the internal organs. Next meat is washed and cleaned for water.

Next, the skin bag is roasted inside and outside. At the begin, stones and meat are put into the bag one by one. Stone is caught by tongs and took turns. Firstly stone and then meat. This is very significant. Bag’s top is tied for a thin wire after insert all of things. Then, bag is roasted from the outside by smoothing iron until skin gets yellow.

Finally, cut the skin bag after those action were finished. Then, the meat and stones are separated. Now it is ready to eat.

In conclusion, we have seen how to roast a full marmot with red hot stones. Firstly, preparation begin to kill marmot and separate the meat and bones from its skin. This is similar to roasted goat meat. Then, stones are made red hot in the fire. After that, the red hot stones are inserted into the skin bag and cooked till its colour gets yellow and brown. Finally, the meal is ready.
