Personal Development Plan

This is a report on personal development plan (PDP) of students for them to critical assess their skills development over the semester. The report is actually to expose students towards their Skills Assessment, Measurable Objective, SMART Action Plan, Personal Tutor and Future Development. Therefore, the plan will effective by implemented individually.

Personal Development Planning has been described as “a structured and supported process undertaken by an individual to reflect upon their own learning, performance and/or achievement and to plan for their personal, educational and career development”. (Universities Scotland, May 2001)1

Through this PDP assignment, I have critically observed my strength and weaknesses, highlighted areas of improvement and skills development over the semester from day one of class. Therefore, from there I will know my initial skills assessment and identify the scope to improvise it in present and my future as well. Besides that, I need to develop a measurable objective and SMART action plan from the aspect that I will use base on my skills assessment. In conjunction with my Personal Tutor, my Lecturer In-Charge and English For Business A1 lecturer will be observe my performance for this whole semester. Finally, I have to reflect on my progress and identify my future development by giving recommendation at the end of this report. In order to do this report, the following steps will be taken.

In conclusion, over this semester Personal Development Plan (PDP) had assessed me to develop my skill and identified many scope for improvement on my weaknesses as well as maintaining and upgrading my strength in future.

Furthermore, by implement PDP in daily life I able to identify my strength and weaknesses all over this semester. Besides that, by completing and using appropriate initial Skills Assessment I had successful identify many scope of improvement on my skills. After that,
