Concentra - National Health Care Company

Concentra is a national health care company focused on improving America's health. Concentra provides health care services to more than 30,000 patients each day. This project dealt with developing a single repository for accounting data of all treasury products for reporting, reconciliation and analysis as well as developing enterprise reporting and analytics solution using Microsoft BIDS to support financial planning and Analytics department.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Installation, Configuration and Administration of SQL Server 2005/2008 on Windows 2003/2008 Servers & Installation of Service Packs & hot fixes.

• Worked on 32 instances of SQL server with around 370 databases.

• Extensively worked on a Very Large database of size 3 TB.

• Involved in TCP/IP NETWORKING.

• Loading data and create testing environment in reporting/ failover server for the developers using regular import/ exports and SQL*Loader.

• Worked extensive with database design team and development team for database design and implementation, used Erwin and Visio for database design and SQL 2008 for development.

• Worked on High Availability system (Active-Passive Cluster, Transactional Replication), Windows servers clustering.

• Created and Maintained replications (Transactional and Snapshot), Database mirroring with automatic Failover on Production, QA and Development servers.

• Configured data partitioning/table partitioning on huge tables containing millions of rows for better performance.

• Migrated databases from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2005/2008.

• Used Online Indexing and online Restoring in SQL
