        In today’s business world there are many types of businesses that are different and uses many different resources to accomplish company goals and be a dominant competitor in the business market. Human resource is the anchor of most businesses who have it and could be quite diverse and difficult to handle. The people of the world have an unlimited need for resources and may never if ever be completely satisfied with what they have. They desire benefits and compensation. Because of the magnitude of needs and request it makes it difficult to sustain a stable workforce. Because of that very reason many businesses begin offering benefit packages or some other form of compensation to their employees. Clapton Construction is no exception to compete in the construction market, they must implement ways to maintain employees and skilled personnel. Though Clapton is expanding from Detroit MI, to Arizona maintaining its already 650 employees and adding an additional 20%, also comparing the other construction businesses to assure that the strategies there will work. It is for certain that those strategies will have to be different from those that are used in Detroit. Clapton Construction has an annual revenue of $10,000,000 and expects their current -3% revenue growth to remain the same, at least for the first year. In this paper, thorough research will be performed to reflect on the recommendation and benefits needed to keep and maintain happy employees.

Results of Market Evaluation

Ames Construction

After conducting research on other construction companies I came across an Arizona based company called Ames which is a family owned enterprise that was founded in 1962. They thrive on taking care of their employees as far as compensating them for their commitment and hard work. The benefits they offer in their organization is medical and dental to all employees and their families through a company-sponsored health plan, or collective bargaining agreements. The company-sponsored medical plan includes coverage for child preventative immunizations, and annual physicals for employees and their spouses. They also offer retirement/pension plans to eligible employees as well as the 401(k) plan (Ames Construction, n.a.).
