1.1 Introduction and history

BeauMe is a naturalism-oriented cosmetic brand created by Extra Virgin in 2015. We share the benefits of nature from the beautiful countryside of Lafayette, California for healthy beauty and promotes the preservation of nature by opting for eco-friendly production methods. We are also one of the few Asian brands that uses organic ingredients certified by France’s ECOCERT organisation.

The symbol represents our beliefs and motivation to achieve what is true to us – to introduce pure beauty to the world while coexisting with nature.

The improvement in the current lifestyles of the individuals brings some positive changes to the cosmetics market. In an effort to step up their style quotient and overall personality, consumers turn to cosmetics in their daily life as cosmetics are able to enhance one’s inherent beauty and physical features. In recent years, the number of men using cosmetics in their daily routine such as facial cleansers is rapidly increasing. Hence, such growing demand of cosmetic products contributes to the massive growth of cosmetics market across the world.

  1. Increase in GDPs of all regions

Presently, the increase in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of various countries has a positive effect towards the global cosmetics market. Improved economy results in an increased disposable income and has raised the spending capabilities of individuals. Such factor drives individuals to buy personal luxury goods, which is able to positively influence the global market growth.

  1. Usage of natural and organic ingredients

Presently, natural ingredients are being adopted in the production of cosmetic products among various manufacturers, including BeauMe. Thus, we are able to cater to the customers’ increasing demand for natural or organic cosmetic products. Herbal cosmetic products which reduces the chances of side effects of the product increases the usage of cosmetics among individuals.
