I read the book Jurassic Park, by Michael Crichton. I will give you a brief biography of the author. I will also discuss the title Jurassic Park and what its meaning is. I will also give you a brief description of the main characters of the book. There will be a summary and analysis of the plot, historical, philosophical and cultural context. Lastly, I will conclude with key ideas, and the impact and implications of the work.

Michael Crichton, was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 23, 1942. Michael went to the University of Harvard studying Anthropology. He received his MD, and taught Anthropology at Cambridge University and writing at MIT. Michael Crichton not only being a Dr., but was a well known writer, author, and director. Michael was best known for his work in the genres of science fiction and medical thrillers. Some of his known work is Jurassic Park, Twister, The Andromeda Strain, and the television series E.R. Michael passed away from a loss to a long battle of cancer. He was survived by his wife, and two children.

As I stated before Michael wrote the book series of Jurassic Park. I will be discussing the title of the first book of the series Jurassic Park itself and what the meaning stands for. Jurassic Park is about the resurrection of dinosaurs vs. genetic engineering, and how man felt like they could play GOD and make a dinosaur park and turn it into an amusement park for people of all around the world experience dinosaurs. But, when you deal with DNA tampering you will receive consequences of genetic mutations.

"Biotechnology promises the greatest revolution in human history" was stated in the beginning of the book from Michael Crichton showing that there are dangers with genetic reproduction, that could be rely heavily on computer technology that will fail in crucial moments, and that genetic engineering cannot be underestimated.
