REPORT ABOUT COMMUNICATION

(MINDHUNTER)

Communication is an aid used everyday life in personal or business. In the business world, good communication is important for the daily operation of the company, whit that the internal and external structure of a business can face numerous challenges that can ultimately lead to its demise.

Good communication can take on several different forms, the three primary form are verbal, written and expressed. All three forms are used internally and externally in conducting business, such each person processes information differently, it is wise to communicate with a combination of these forms of communication. But in this project, i would want to focus in one of those, and is the verbal or “face to face” communication.

Dr. John Lund said “ Do not communicate to be understood; rather, communicate so as not to be misunderstood”

Same, Dr. John Lund share some tips on how to better understand the way we interpret communication from others. He also said that the way we interpret their message is based on the following three things:

55 % is based on their facial expressions and their body language.

37 % is based on the tone of their voice.

8 % is based on the words they say.

In my personal opinion, to interpretive the message from others, a big percentage depends on our own opinion of the subject, mostly subjective.

My project is based on a study about how the people communicate with each other, for that i watched the show Mind hunter, where Holder Ford, teacher of phycological strategy on the FBI, try to teach to the future members, how to communicate with a criminal suspect. Holder decide to collaborate with XXX being “road teachers” and while they travel around smalls town teaching caps techniques of FBI; they are doing and study that consist in interview different sequence killers to try to find a “common factor” about why they did what they did; and results that all of them had an awful traumatic situation on their lives; that, far away to be an excuse or to justify what they did, became to be a light on the tunnel and help them to understand that the circumstances affect the behavior
